Terms of Use

Last updated

These terms cover the Flashley iPhone app and flashley.com. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app; the terms below add what’s specific to Flashley. By using Flashley you agree to both.

Flashley Plus

  • Flashley is free to download. Each iPhone gets one free AI preview. There is no free trial.
  • Flashley Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or yearly (in the US, $6.99 a week or $79.99 a year; the App Store shows the price where you live).
  • It includes 30 photos a week in every look. Your photos refresh every 7 days, counted from the day your subscription started; Settings shows how many are left and when more arrive. Unused photos don’t carry over.
  • A photo that fails our quality checks never counts against your week.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Flashley Plus until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides refund requests; we can’t issue them ourselves.

Your photos

Your photos stay yours. You give us permission to process the photos you choose only to make your Flashley photos, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Only use photos you have the right to use: photos of yourself, or of people who agreed to it. Don’t use Flashley to:

  • edit photos of other people without their permission, or of anyone under 13
  • make sexual, hateful, violent or illegal content
  • deceive people, for example by passing off an edited photo of someone as real to harm them
  • break the law or anyone’s rights, including copyright

AI looks are also subject to Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. We may refuse or stop processing photos that break these rules.

AI-edited photos

AI light looks change the light in your photo and are checked to make sure the result still looks like you, but results can contain mistakes. You decide what to save and share. Some apps ask you to label AI-edited photos when you post them; please follow their rules.

The service

Flashley is available on the App Store in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. We add, change and retire looks over time, and we may change or stop the service. Flashley needs an internet connection to make photos.

Flashley is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live.
